AI assistant for business: answers from your company's own data

Ask in plain language and Megorix AI answers with your business data — and does whatever is needed, when you ask.

  • Questions in plain language, answered with your data — how many orders there are this week, which customers have overdue invoices.
  • Ask and it is done: create and update records in your own words, always with the permissions of the person asking.
  • AI actions on records: summarise, classify or extract data from a field when a record is created or changed.
  • Agents that handle a process on their own — at a set time or when something happens —, only suggesting, asking for approval or acting autonomously.

An AI assistant and agents that respect each user's permissions

Megorix AI works with the permissions of the person asking: it cannot see or change anything that person could not, and every save goes through the same validations as a record entered by hand.

Agents start by only suggesting; once you trust them, they ask for approval before saving or work on their own. Every run is recorded, step by step.

On the Pro and Enterprise plans, you can connect your own AI account — Google Gemini, OpenAI or Anthropic — and use agents.

Claude working inside Megorix, connected over MCP

Connect Claude to your Megorix and ask for what you need in your own words: it builds modules and dashboards, answers with your business data and handles what you ask — inside your system.

What the AI assistant does — and doesn’t do — with your company’s data

In the chat, Megorix AI lists, counts and sums records, calculates averages, groups by day, month or year and compares periods. It finds records similar to another one, even when they are worded differently — that similarity search uses a multilingual model hosted by Megorix itself. It creates, updates or deletes records, builds board, calendar, chart or pivot-table views, and reads the photos and PDFs you attach to the chat, up to 15 MB each.

What it doesn’t do: it doesn’t see records or fields the person asking can’t see, it doesn’t search the internet, it doesn’t send emails from the chat and it doesn’t read Excel spreadsheets or Word documents. By default, the records it creates, updates or deletes in the chat stay in the test environment; an administrator decides when it starts writing straight to the real data.

Examples of questions to ask Megorix AI, industry by industry

Questions use the modules and fields your company has. A few examples:

  • At a repair shop: “Which repair orders have been waiting for parts for more than a week?”
  • At a clinic: “How many appointments did each practitioner have this month, compared with last month?”
  • At an association: “Which members haven’t paid this year’s dues yet?”
  • At a real estate agency: “Which properties are similar to this one?”
  • At a law firm, an AI action can read the PDF attached to a case and fill in the parties and the dates on the record.

AI actions, autonomous agents and your account’s AI key

An AI action is an instruction written for an entity: it reads the record’s fields — PDFs and images included — and writes the answer into the fields you choose. It runs from a button, when the record is created or when a field you specify changes, and it can be tried out first without saving anything.

An agent follows a process without a chat window: it runs at a set time, when something happens or when you call it. In suggest mode it doesn’t touch records; in approval mode, approving runs it again, this time allowed to save; in autonomous mode, it saves on its own. It acts with the permissions of whoever created it, every step is logged and, after five errors in a row, it switches itself off.

For all of this, Megorix uses your account’s key with an AI provider — Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek or OpenRouter —, personal or shared by the company and stored encrypted, on the Pro and Enterprise plans. To automate without AI, there are automation rules and workflows.

Common questions about AI in business software

It is Megorix's AI assistant: it answers in plain language with your business data and does what you ask — create, update or find records — within the permissions of the person asking.

No. Megorix AI and agents always act with a user's permissions — the same record and field access rules as anyone else.

An agent runs a process without a chat window — for example, reviewing the new contacts every morning. It can only suggest, ask for approval before saving or work on its own, and every run is recorded. Available on the Pro and Enterprise plans.

Yes. Megorix works as an MCP server: you connect Claude to your Megorix with one authorisation, and it works with your modules and data, with the permissions of that authorisation.

Google Gemini, OpenAI, Anthropic, DeepSeek and OpenRouter, with your account’s key for that provider. The key can belong to each user or be shared by the company, it is stored encrypted, and AI is available on the Pro and Enterprise plans.

Yes. In the chat, it reads PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP images and PDF documents up to 15 MB. In AI actions, it reads the PDFs and images stored in a record’s fields and fills other fields with what it finds. Excel spreadsheets and Word documents are not read.

Yes, for people with Dev Studio access: in the Megorix chat or through Claude connected over MCP, the AI creates modules, entities, fields, pages and rules. Everything stays as a draft, in the test environment, until someone reviews and publishes it.
