Website and online store, in the same system as your management

Edit your website and store in the same place you run your business. Every online order goes straight into the system.

  • Pages built from sections and elements — text, images, videos, maps, buttons — with a shared header and footer and your brand's look.
  • A store with catalogue, categories, search, cart and wishlist.
  • A customer area with sign-up, orders and addresses, and a checkout with the payment methods you choose.
  • Changes in draft, preview, and publish when it is ready.

An online store wired into your management, with payments built in

In Megorix, the website and the store are not a separate system bolted on with a plug-in. The products are the ones in your catalogue, and an order placed online lands in the same list where the team handles all the others.

Payments by card and SEPA Direct Debit (Stripe), and by Multibanco, MB WAY, card, direct debit or bank transfer (Easypay). An order only becomes paid once the payment provider confirms it.

The website can have its own domain on the Pro and Enterprise plans, be published in several languages and redirect old addresses to the new ones, so you keep what you have built up in search engines. Newsletter, contact form and sitemap are included.

How to build your website and online store in Megorix, from catalogue to first payment

The store doesn’t start from scratch: it starts from the products the company already manages in Megorix.

  1. 1

Choose the entity that serves as the catalogue and say which fields are the name, price, compare-at price, SKU, stock, category and store filters.

  2. 2

Build the pages in the builder with ready-made sections — hero, pricing, FAQ, gallery, map, forms — and with the store sections: products, cart, checkout and customer account.

  3. 3

Set the look: theme, logo and icon, and your own CSS if you wish; the header and footer are shared by every page.

  4. 4

Connect the payment provider — Stripe or Easypay, one per store — and the store’s VAT rate, with prices including or excluding tax.

  5. 5

Preview the draft and publish. Each translated page has the same address in another language, and the sitemap tells Google about every version.

MB WAY, Multibanco and card payments: how each one is confirmed

With Easypay, customers pay by Multibanco reference, by MB WAY — accepting the request on their phone within five minutes —, by card, or by bank transfer to an IBAN assigned to the order. With Stripe, they pay by card in euros, dollars or pounds, or by SEPA Direct Debit.

In every case, a payment is only recorded as received once the provider’s notification arrives and Megorix verifies it: Stripe’s signature, or a fresh check with Easypay confirming the amount and the reference. Stock is reserved at checkout; if the online payment isn’t completed within the time the store sets, the order is cancelled and the stock becomes available again.

Purchases are made with a customer account: customers register, confirm their email and can then see their orders and addresses. For business-to-business sales, each customer can have their own price list.

Examples of websites and online stores connected to the back office, by industry

In retail, the online store sells items from the same catalogue as the physical shop, and stock goes down at the moment of purchase. In hospitality, takeaway orders can land straight in the list the kitchen follows, paid by MB WAY on the customer’s phone. At a training centre, each course can be sold as a product, paid by Multibanco or card at enrolment.

At a real estate agency, the multilingual website collects contact requests in a Megorix inbox, from where they move to the customer’s record. At an association, the newsletter can ask for email confirmation before signing anyone up. When a ready-made section isn’t enough, a code widget goes into the page; and orders move on to invoicing without being typed again.
